Makenzie Thomas

Hello, my name is Makenzie Thomas. I am going to be a freshman at St. Charles North High School this year. I am on the JV dance team. My goal for the Kick-A-Thon is to raise at least $200. This is important to me because my dad once had skin cancer. Also both my grandparents died from cancer, one had bone and the other had stomach. It means a lot to me to know that others going through tough times and similar situations are getting the help they need and I can be part of the reason why and you can too by donating! Kick-A-Thon has the purpose to help fight cancer. All of the money donated goes towards three major charities, Living Well Cancer Resource Center, The American Cancer Society, and Fox Valley Food For Health. This will be the 25th year the Kick-A-Thon has taken place. To date, over one million dollars has been raised for the Kick-A-Thon! Each little bit of money donated will help cancer patients in many ways. I am so excited to be able to participate in this amazing event and be able to raise the money for it, thank you!!
